Industrial Design
I think I’ve mentioned it before but I am a huge fan of the Nike brand. I just love how they experiment all the time with their products and material. And at the same time it’s great to see designers going down this path as well. Let’s take a look at this concept by Joseph Cooper of a Nike Advanced Training Jacket. What’s particular from this concept is the use of battery (for charging) and sensors for tracking the performance of the athlete. The attention to the details are spot-on and I can’t wait to see more from Joseph in the near future.

Branding: Porter the Kitchen Bar
We would like to share this branding project by Erik Musin for a kitchen bar named Porter. Like mentioned below, his 3d/cgi approach adds a unique style to his stationery work also for a presentation. Something that particularly caught my attention was the attention of details on his work for the visual design of what’s outside the restaurant with the signage and vinyls.

Product Design: The Grid Game
We would like to share this product design by Estudio Victor Alemán about a simple but fun game for your events and parties. In line with yesterday’s article going too digital, it’s nice to put our smart devices on the side and just have fun. As it’s mentioned, let’s bring back the ritual of board games. The starter edition starts with 50 tiles and can be played with 5 players. You should definitely check out their Kickstarter Project.

From the logo to the packaging, I really like his colourful approach and play with elements of flowers across the branding that truly reflects the colours from the restaurant.
